The TI-84 Plus is a competant enough pocket calculator but it has its limitations.
One of the first computations I attempted was division by zero. Unfortunately, the calculator yielded disappointing results. Instead of an actual answer like infinity, I received an error message, as seen in figure 1.
My next move was an attempt at calculating the natural log of 0. This time, my calculator gave me an even sillier answer "Error : Domain." I don't know what crack that calculator is on, but that's certainly not a number.
One final feature that was missing was an "infinity" key. How is one supposed to evaluate infinite series without an infinity key?
In conclusion, the TI-84 Plus by Texas Instruments is good enough for casual calculations, but DO NOT expect this calculator to be able to compute anything actually interesting.
